Congratulations to Florida International’s Men’s Soccer Team! The team defeated Marshall in the Conference USA Soccer Championship November 15. This is the team’s first championship title in Conference USA. Go Panthers!

Florida Institute of Technology has secured Buzz Aldrin to serve as a Research Professor for Aeronautics and as the Senior Faculty Advisor for the newly established Buzz Aldrin Space Institute. The Institute will support commercial and international development of lunar resources to support an eventual Mars settlement. Before becoming an astronaut in 1963, Aldrin earned a Doctorate in Aeronautics from MIT. Way to go, Florida Tech!
