Travel and Transportation:

For those traveling by plane, Miami International Airport (MIA) is the closest airport to our venue. You can also fly into Ft. Lauderdale Airport (FLL) while a little further away, you can sometimes find lower airfares. If you are driving to Miami from the North, take the Florida Turnpike south to Exit 25 US 41- E/ SW 8th Street/ Tamiami or you can take I-95 South to the Florida Turnpike and Exit 25 US 41- E/ SW 8th Street/ Tamiami. If you stay close to FIU, and do not anticipate doing any sightseeing, or would prefer not to drive, you could be fine using Uber or Lyft.

Zoo Miami

End your exploration back toward the front of the zoo in the Australia exhibit, which showcases furry and feathered creatures like kangaroos, emus, and koalas.
