REGISTRATION IS OPEN.

On behalf of the FLACADA Steering Committee, we hope you and your families are safe and healthy. We at FLACADA understand that times continue to be challenging for us as individuals and for the institutions for which we work. As such, to provide broader access to FLACADA members to participate in the 2023 conference, the FLACADA Steering Committee has opted to keep the 2023 conference completely virtual.

Our Whova app will provide several opportunities for virtual networking and engagement and conference fees include your annual membership fee. We hope you can join us and help us Demystify Advising!

The conference will be held on Friday, May 12, 2023.

The FLACADA conference is an opportunity for you to network with advising professionals from across the state of Florida to discuss ground-breaking practices and enhance your own professional development.

Don’t miss your chance to participate; registration closes on April 30, 2023.

To register for the conference, please login to the website above!

Registration Cost:
  • $50 (includes FLACADA membership that is effective May 1, 2023 – April 30, 2024)
  • Payments must be made with credit cards through Paypal. Follow the process in the FLACADA portal.  Checks are not accepted.
Justify Your Attendance to the FLACADA Conference!

We know that training budgets are tight, and it can be difficult to get approval to attend events and conferences. We are here to help. Here are some tips on how to communicate to your supervisor why you should attend the 2023 FLACADA Conference.

  • Download the FLACADA Justification Letter that you can personalize and send to your supervisor.
  • Do not leave it at the conference — share your wealth! Let your supervisor know that you will commit to a post-conference briefing for staff where you’ll highlight what you’ve learned from the conference.  Tie your learnings to your school’s long-term and short-term goals or strategic plan – it’s important to show your supervisor that the conference was not just good in theory but that it gave you real, actionable solutions that you can implement at your school.
  • Justify the cost of the conference by comparing it to other educational courses and offerings. Almost any alternative will prove to be more time consuming and expensive.
